• Special Event:

• Special Event: French Open at Frick Park Tennis Celebration, Saturday, May 30, 4-8 PM.
  Rain Day Sunday May 31. A Classic Wood Racquets Event and an Exhibition Matches marks this celebration of grand slam tennis on red clay in Pittsburgh, paying homage to the outstanding tradition of tennis at Frick Park.

• Club Leagues: The club will run the Red Clay Leagues on Saturdays, Sundays and Thursdays during the summer months. There will be men and women’s leagues of all levels.
  
  
• Club Ladder: The club will run the Red Clay Ladder during the summer months. To learn more, click here.
  
  
• Club Tournament: Men’s and Women’s Singles Club Member Tournament. Sunday, June 6. Free entry for club member players of all levels. Competition on Saturday and Sunday for prizes and fun. There will be a tennis party on Sunday for the finals.

• Free Clinics: Beginner Clinics for Children and Adults. Sundays Noon-1PM beginning June 14, Noon-1PM.

• Coaching Workshop: PTR International Certification Workshop. Saturday and Sunday, June 13-14. Free and Open Clinics Sunday June 14, Noon-1PM.

     July 2009

• Open Tournament: Frick Park Red Clay Junior Open, USTA sanctioned. Boys and Girls, Ages 10, 12, 14. Full Consolation Singles Draws. July 1 - 5, 2009. REGISTRATION EXTENDED: ENTRIES NOW CLOSE THURSDAY JUNE 25, 11:59PM.

• Open Tournament: Paul G. Sullivan Clay Court Championships, July 11-19, 2009. Co-presented by Citiparks. Adults 16 and over. The former Pittsburgh Parks Championships, first held in 1930, are co-presented by Citiparks Tennis and the Frick Park Clay Court Tennis Club.

     September 2009

• Special Event: Fall Block Party – Celebrating 2 years since Aug 07 restoration. Thursday Sept 24th, 5PM.

• Club Tournament: Doc Greene and Bud Wechsler Doubles Tournament. Saturday and Sunday Sept 26-27th. Competition for all levels, including beginners and intermediates. Free entry for all club members and new signups.

     October 2009

• Club Tournament: Third Annual Fall Season Club Member Tournament. Saturday and Sunday Oct. 31-Nov. 1. Held with the beauty of fall colors at Frick Park all around the courts. Free entry for all club members.
